Laura Echevarria rejoined National Right to Life in June 2019 as Director of Communications and Press Secretary, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong history with the organization. She previously served on the communications team from 1994 to 2004, including seven years as Director of Media Relations.

Laura is a seasoned spokesperson who has appeared on major national and international news outlets, including network and cable news channels, as well as numerous international broadcasts. Her insights have been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, and many others.

In addition to her media appearances, Laura has contributed pro-life commentary to various radio programs and talk shows across the country. Her opinion pieces have been published in respected outlets including USA Today, National Review, and Human Life Review.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications and has pursued graduate coursework in English. Laura and her husband are proud parents of three children, two of whom are on the autism spectrum—a personal journey that continues to inform her professional and advocacy work.
